Hiroshi Fujiwara’s fragment design has presented the world of sneakers countless classic collaborations. Most notably, the label’s work on the Air Jordan 1 has caused crazes throughout the world. In September, Fujiwara was spotted courtside rocking an unreleased colorway of fragment’s take on the Air Jordan 1 Low with Travis Scott. Now, a previously unseen fragment design x Air Jordan 1 sample from 2014 featuring Louis Vuitton Epi leather has hit the net.Reportedly limited to three pairs in existence and designed for Kim Jones during his tenure as creative director at Louis Vuitton, this pair is one for the archives. Its design flips the original fragment design x Air Jordan 1 High from 2014, this time including a premium finish that features Louis Vuitton’s own Epi leather. As sneakerheads have grown accustomed to, another year means another slate of Dunks. 2023 is now just around the corner and Nike has already began sharing some of its looks for the classic silhouette that have been prepared for the new year. The latest to surface is an “ATL” colorway that pays homage to the city of Atlanta.Possibly part of an upcoming city-themed collection of sneakers, the Nike Dunk Low “ATL” serves the city a follow-up to this year’s Clark Atlanta University Dunk. In this brief first look at the pair, orange and red cover the upper with an orangish-red suede base, red leather overlays and orange translucent Swooshes on each side. The lateral side of the heel counter offers “ATL” text that combines with a Swoosh to complete the look.As of now, Nike has not yet shared any release information regarding the Dunk Low “ATL” or any other city edition Dunk colorways. The heightened energy around the sport of golf has allowed new streetwear brands to enter the sphere and sportswear brands to reinvigorate more life into their fairway-focused initiatives. The latter has seen a noticeable spike in production from Jordan Brand who has shown a penchant in recent years for morphing retro classics into kicks that are ready to tackle the green. The latest to be unveiled by way of official imagery is this Air Jordan 12 Low Golf “Cherry.”Staying faithful to the pair’s original design ensemble, the Jumpman designers carry over its three-toned motif. Premium leather uppers are presented with a clean white hue and come complemented by metallic silver eyelets and pebbled leather mudguards that are inundated with its titular shade. Shades of black are also found atop the Jumpman logos that are laid on the tongues, the interior liners, pull tabs and the GOLF-branded heels. Down below, the chevron-patterned treading that’s signature to the Air Jordan 12 is retained, but it has been modified with spikes so that players can walk comfortably across their 18-hole journeys.A hard launch date hasn’t been announced just yet, but it’s likely that you’ll see these release in the coming months.For all news related to Jordan Brand you can follow along here.
