Teddy Santis Broadens His Made In USA Range With This New Balance 990v3 “Scarlet”

Momentum is strong with New Balance right now in its footwear department, especially on the lifestyle side thanks to its consistent outpour of striking colorways. One series that has been impressing the sneaker community on many occasions as of late is Teddy Santis’ Made in USA collection centered around the 990 lineage. And to end the month of July with a bang, it’s set to release another crisp installment — the New Balance 990v3 “Scarlet.”Like many of its capsule siblings, this iteration is done up with a straightforward presentation. Its titular shade does most of the heavy lifting across the base layer as it shrouds the suede overlays from the front to the back. Mesh layers that lie underneath are dialed down to a muted shade of burgundy while “Marblehead” accents are distributed to the thinner suede overlays that are planted onto the N logos, collars and toe boxes. Down below, ENCAP cushioning is stuffed inside the midsole piece to supply wearers with an extra plushy ride.New Balance is scheduled to release these on July 28 for $200 USD, so check them out here while you wait on their arrival. On the hunt for more footwear news? HIDDEN.NY unveiled a reworked New Balance 992 colorway.

Nike Adds the Dunk High to Its Latest “Inspected by Swoosh” Lineup

Nike continues to keep it cool and fresh as it adds its classic Dunk High to its “Inspected By Swoosh” lineup. The sneaker joins the Nike Blazer Mid and Blazer Mid ’77, both currently in the series.Arriving in a two-tone makeup, the Nike Dunk High comes dressed in a “Honeydew” green and “Summit White” color scheme. Though the sneaker is fairly simple, constructed in its classic leather make-up, the Swoosh receives brown stitching that gives the branding an additional emphasis. The stitching matches the dark gum-speckled outsole in brown. The shoe uses raw leather for its tongue and small heel pull tab. The final touches of detail include a branded insole. The Nike Dunk High “Inspected By Swoosh” is slated to arrive in the coming months. Stay tuned on Nike for the release.Elsewhere in footwear, the New Balance 2002R arrives in blue suede.

Wear-Away Uppers Arrive on This Air Jordan 1 Low “Black/Electric Green” Colorway

Now that Jordan Brand has taken care of its long-awaited Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Reverse Mocha” release, it’s ready to propel the momentum of its AJ 1 line forward with the release of more inline colorways. The next iteration on MJ’s agenda is a brand new Air Jordan 1 Low “Black/Electric Green” colorway which comes enhanced with wear-away upper layers. The overlays appear with solid black cracked leathers when you take them straight out of the box. However, after days of normal wear and tear, this outer layer gradually sheds off and reveals a bold “Electric Green” underlay. Adjacent to all of that comes crisp white perforated toe boxes and quarter panels while the Swooshes, interior lining, tongues, laces and ball-and-wings logos that are parked out back come dressed in black. Another pop of neon green turns up on the Jumpman logos on the tongues for extra flair to complete its Paranorman-reminiscent color story.Official release info hasn’t been confirmed by Nike just yet, but you can likely see these hitting retailers in the coming months. If you’re lookout out for more footwear news, peep a closer look at the Air Jordan 1 Low “Bordeaux.”
