Following the reintroduction of the collaborative low-top DRKSTARs, Rick Owens DRKSHDW and Converse join forces once again for two new monochromatic takes on the DRKSHDW TURBOWPN silhouette.The TURBOWPN is a reimagined version of the Converse Weapon, a basketball shoe that commanded the hardwood in the late ’80s, worn by icons such as Magic Johnson and Larry Bird. For its second release, the TURBOWPN sneakers are introduced in “Clay” and “Egret” colorways featuring distorted and exaggerated proportions including an elongated tongue, puffed collars, and stretched platform soles. Bad Bunny’s adidas Forum Low Buckle Arrives in “Blue Tint”
Following a range of collaborative footwear silhouettes including a “Catch and Throw” adidas Originals Forum Powerphase and a duo of adidas Response CLs, the Puerto Rican rapper, Bad Bunny, expands his adidas catalog with a new Forum Low Buckle in “Blue Tint.” Past sellout iterations from the Bad Bunny x adidas Forum Low Buckle collaboration include a coffee-toned “The First Cafe” colorway and a pink “Easter Egg” take.The upcoming pairs arrive in a tonal color scheme featuring “Blue Tint,” “Light Blue,” and “Clear Blue” hues across leather and suede uppers. Defining characteristics from the rework include heavy-duty black metal buckles secured onto the nylon straps, a drawstring chord on the heel, removable double-stacked tongue tabs featuring Bad Bunny’s eye logo, and a bulging foam piece along the collars. Rounding out the design are semi-translucent midsoles and icy blue rubber outsoles. Additional accessories include soft pink and yellow laces for alternative looks.The Bad Bunny x adidas Forum Low Buckle “Blue Tint” has now been officially released in the artist’s hometown of Puerto Rico for $160 USD, and will see a broader release in the coming months. Supreme Previews Nike Air Zoom Flight 95s in Vibrant Blue Colorway
Supreme is following up on its Nike Dunk Highs by teasing yet another collaboration with the brand, this time, for one of the first shoes to popularize Nike Zoom Air technology.Posting to Instagram, the streetwear brand debuted the Supreme x Nike Air Zoom Flight 95 in a vibrant blue colorway. Shown alongside a tan colorway, the sneaker features a paisley bandana print on its side panels. The tongue of the shoe is branded with the Supreme logo and the air bubbles in the sneaker’s futuristic sole also match the blue color scheme.The rest of the sneaker matches the classic Nike Air Zoom Flight 95 silhouette, with a suede finish and swoosh on the tip.The blue version of the Supreme x Nike Air Zoom Flight 95 is reportedly only one of three colorways and the collaboration may be issuing versions of the sneaker in “Black/White” and “Hemp/White” color schemes sometime in the near future.As of right now, release details for the Supreme x Nike Air Zoom Flight 95 haven’t been announced.In other footwear news, Kim Kardashian teased SZA’s upcoming Crocs collaboration.
