The adidas Crazy 1 Is Making a Return in the “Sunshine” Colorway

adidas has just announced the return of a classic colorway for the Kobe 1 — reintroduced as the Crazy 1 in 2013 — in the form of the “Sunshine” color scheme. The original Audi TT-modeled basketball sneaker will take on the colorway that was made famous when the Black Mamba himself wore them for the 2001 NBA All-Star Game. While not as chunky as the Kobe 2, these still have a sleek and minimal upper with presence afforded by its solid mold — giving rise to the “Space Boot” nickname. The Three Stripes logo can be seen debossed at the sides where the outsole is separated in a silver color while the lining arrives in black. The signature shell toe and grille heel are also highlighted in contrasting materials. These are set to drop close to April. Stay tuned for an official release date and pricing.
