PUMA invites fellow gamers to partake in its latest collection, PUMA x Minecraft, a colorful display of Minecraft’s iconic virtual blocks on PUMA’s Suede and RS-Z silhouettes.The sneaker and apparel lineup drops this Saturday alongside a downloadable PUMA DLC, allowing players to customize their avatars with new virtual skins at the PUMA store before participating in races for trophies and unlockable content. PUMA’s Suede introduces a revamped upper constructed of Minecraft’s 3D-rendered plain biomes—the co-branded tongue label runs underneath orange laces and eyestays, with white striations along the quarter. The collection includes a three-piece apparel drop featuring a white T-shirt with Minecraft and PUMA logos stamped throughout the front and back panels, branded sweatpants in grey and black colorways and a set of matching hoodies topstitched with Minecraft cloth badges near the kangaroo pocket and front panel.Last year, PUMA worked with Nintendo on its Animal Crossing collaboration, borrowing the iconic anthropomorphic characters and whimsical, cotton candy-esque color scheme. The German sportswear label continues its intersection with the gaming world with the newest lineup, rendering Minecraft into a tangible, physical realm.Pieces will range from $25 USD to $100 USD, and be available at PUMA’s official website and NYC flagship locations in addition to select third-party retailers beginning on February 5.In other footwear news, New Balance gears up for Easter with the new 992 model.

New Balance has intentions of beefing up its lifestyle catalog with a plethora of new colorways this Spring, and one silhouette that will be showing up on the frontlines is the 992. While Easter is still a couple of months away, this latest installment to release chooses to dress in a plethora of pastel hues that align with the April holiday.Think of all of the traditional colors that you’d find in an Easter egg hunt, and you’ll notice them on these vivid kicks. One adjustment that the New Balance design team made here is that is decorated the underlays with chevron patterns, and these come filled in with a bright blue towards the collars and a soft green across the toe boxes. Dusted yellows cover the overlays that rest on the mid-foot as well as the mudguards, while beige hits apply to the heels and muted blues cover the toe tips.
