A sneak peek of Christian Tresser’s game-changing Nike Air Max ‘97 shoe reveals a fresh new design that seemingly takes inspiration from the classic 1980s TV series Miami Vice and its art deco-flavored pink and green logo. The show’s logo takes front-and-center on Nike’s mood board as its color palette of turquoise and lavender rose has been incorporated onto the sneaker. Two bands of 3M reflective gray material encircle the upper lining, collar and tongue, and the upper and mid-section is composed of white mesh and leather with pink and green leather banding resting atop the classic foam midsole. A white fabric pull loop incorporates the lowercase “air max” insignia and stretches down the back of the sneaker, with the legendary Nike “Swoosh” being encapsulated in a turquoise green leather tab placed at the top of the tongue. An official release date has not been made, but take a look at these eco-inspired Air Max 97s to see how Nike has been upping the ante.

Richardson and Converse Addict Unveil a Weatherproof Jack Purcell Collaboration
Andrew Richardson’s Richardson brand has keyed in on rolling out a barrage of new collaborations throughout the Fall/Winter season alongside brands like New Era, Mum.Vs.Cold and Alien Labs. And to continue its partnerships streak, it has linked up with Converse Addict to forge an understated Jack Purcell makeup that’s built to combat inclement weather conditions.Understated is arguably the best adjective to describe this new take of the lifestyle silhouette as it is designed with a simple yin-and-yang palette. Suede-infused side panels are enhanced with GORE-TEX lining to repel the harsher winter weather and come accented with a Richardson stamp on the lateral mid-foot and a white rubber toe cap. Black paracord shoe strings are marked with white stripes, and more Richardson branding is printed across the tongues. Inside the shoes, you’ll find more playfully styled patterns as Christmas-friendly green and white stripes adorn the entire footbeds. The bottom section — which is predominantly covered in white — is engineered with Vibram soles for premium comfort and durability.Parties who are interested in copping can find these releasing Exclusively at the Richardson Tokyo store, the Richardson web shop and Converse Addict retailers.
