Rick Owens DRKSHDW has introduced a new silhouette to its expansive Spring/Summer 2021 lineup. Dubbed, Abstract Sandal, the piece embodies an open design that’s made up of lightly padded straps and a chunky midsole.The sandal, with its large geometric build and quilted uppers, has been dressed in triple black to bring some sleekness to the chunky mold. There are a total of three straps. One at the upper quarter, one near the toes and one that wraps around the back of the ankle. Each strap is horizontally quilted with tonal top-stitching and it’s velcro construction allows wearers to adjust the fit to their liking. As a finishing touch, the sandal boasts a thick midsole with geometric accents.
