This Tear-Away Nike Blazer Mid ’77 Vintage Conceals Wild Zebra Patterns

Nike will often give its consumers the chance to express themselves through customizable options on their sneakers. One of the themes that it has lent to its classic silhouettes is “Alter and Reveal” which allows wearers to tear away the first layer of the upper and style the shoe in any way they so choose. The latest to receive this treatment is this Nike Blazer Mid ’77 Vintage “White/Game Royal” that has just popped up through official imagery. The exterior of these lifestyle kicks are mostly done up in white. The overlays on the heels and adjacent to the throat are done up with an angelic finish as well as the mesh foreground layers on the side walls which create a fence-like pattern. If you cut or rip away the latter, the shoes unleash a wild all-over zebra pattern which is doused in an olive green hue to match up with the Nike branding that is planted into the rear. Other elements to call out on these Blazers are the premium leather Swooshes which contrast with a solid black as well as the foamy tongues which trade out the usual air branding for a “Alter and Reveal” and “Blazer 77” spell outs. You can find detailed shots of the shoes in the gallery above and note that these are launching via Nike for $110 USD.Elsewhere in footwear news, official images of G-Dragon’s PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Kwondo 1 have appeared.Click here to view full gallery at HYPEBEAST
