This Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 38 Colorway is Inspired by the Berlin Marathon

Aside from London, Berlin is the only other city that is part of the World Marathon Majors, and it’s widely known for having one of the biggest running communities across the globe. And so to honor its dedicated runners, Nike has fashioned its Air Zoom Pegasus 38 model in a brand new colorway that’s inspired by the German city. These running sneakers are anchored by a solid “Noir” tone that covers its ventilated mesh upper and Zoom-cushioned sole units, but allows its all-over debossed details to do most of the talking. The first detail that jumps out at you are the Swooshes that position themselves on the lateral and medial sides, on the insoles and on the “You Are Here Mon” hits on the toe boxes, all of which are drenched in an “Ultimate Orange” hue. From there, you’ll discover silhouettes of runners pasted to the heels in dark gray, a red track logo and the Berlin bear on the medial sides as well as a green tree icon and a “Runners Only” notation on the lateral side. The word “Berlin” is also stamped to the left foot’s tongue and on the lateral side of the midsoles to nod to the Berlin Marathon.Peep a detailed look at the pair right here, and note that it will be available soon via Nike France for €125 (approx. $147 USD).On the hunt for more sneaker news?
