Following their football kit and boot collaboration with Chelsea and England forward Raheem Sterling, Stone Island and New Balance have just unveiled their latest collaborative installment, and this time it’s an all-new 574 sneaker. The collaboration between Stone Island and New Balance was first teased by U.K. rapper Dave last month, and since, fans have been waiting to see it in action. Thankfully, the launch went as well as it could do, with Sterling scoring against Iran when debuting the boots at the World Cup. Now, the 574 sneaker silhouette is set to be released next, with the model arriving with more military-inspired details that align to the previous boot and kit release. For the new footwear collaboration, the shoe is adorned in military influences and integrates a pre-worn olive-inspired suede across its in-your-face overlays. Grid-layered mesh is also covered in scarcely sage hues and metallic grey also ties all of the various fabrications and colors together on the back half of the model. Additionally, a perforated heel tab, rugged heel clips, and a sectioned midsole is used, laying the foundations for the 3D “N” logo on the lateral sides. For the Stone Island branding, the classic compass logo is used on the tongue tabs which are coated in a mix of green, yellow, and black hues. The remainder of the shoe is then complemented with shades of off-white across its fuzzy sock-liner, midsole, and laces. You can take a first look at the Stone Island x New Balance 574 above and be sure to keep an eye on the official Stone Island Instagram page to keep up to date with the release details. In other news, take a first look at the Air Jordan 2 Low “Cherrywood.”Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast
