Following the reveal of Julian Klincewicz’s third collaboration with Vault by Vans, we now have a closer look at the OG Authentic SP LX and OG Style 31 LX that just landed on HBX.Inspired by Klincewicz’s childhood summers in Michigan, the head-to-toe collection centers around the summer spirit. “I tried to approach each piece of footwear and apparel with a kind of humility and practicality in mind, as well as the idea of time. What would I want to wear there? How will it change? How does something like a shoe gain value as it deteriorates? Through the memories you make while wearing them,” the artist further elaborates on the design approach.The latest OG Style 31 LX comes in three colorways of turquoise green, amethyst purple, and amber brown, paired with contrasting black laces and outsole. Rounding out the heel is the “PURE IMAGINATION” text.
