After having success crafting the classic Air Max 1/97 with Nike back in 2018, Sean Wotherspoon was instantaneously recognized has a designer whose style matters in the world of footwear. Since that project he’s gone on to produce some amazing offerings with the likes of ASICS and adidas, the latter of which is slated to grow with another Superturf Adventure colorway. This impending iteration will serve as a follow-up to his “Jiminy Cricket” Superturf Adventure makeup that was engineered alongside Disney. This newest installment comes suited up with a blend of neutral tones and trail-friendly accents. The former is certainly more dominant here as the mesh base is swathed with a lighter gray hue and comes paired up next to creamy synthetic overlays on the lateral and medial walls. Mudguards are given a black and white speckled pattern and the toe tips arrive with stealthy finishes. In terms of louder accents, the throat, interior liners and the removable pouches are lined with a bold orange hue while notes of green show face on the zippers, two sets of lace loops and the heels. Stuffed inside the midsoles is plushy adiPrene cushioning which supplies wearers with a comfortable and stable ride.Early reports have these dropping on November 12 for $160 USD but adidas hasn’t confirmed this just yet.Looking for more sneaker news?
