Earlier this year, adidas introduced the Orketro as a ’90s inspired runner under the adidas Originals division. Putting a futuristic spin on a classic look, the Orketro utilizes layering and strong linework to stand out. Now, designer and vintage curator Sean Wotherspoon has offered a look at his own Orketro colorway. As part of an ongoing collaboration between Wotherspoon and the Three Stripes, this pair follows previous sneakers from the duo including colorful colorways of the EQT Support 93 and Superturf Adventure.Wotherspoon’s take on the adidas Orketro includes a pink mesh base at the upper that combines with gray suede and black corduroy overlays. Additional colorful linework also weaves around the shoe’s upper. Wotherspoon’s initials hit the forefoot while his logo lands on the tongue. Completing this bold look is the adiPrene sole unit in a yellowed-white with various colors accenting it.No release details were shared in Wotherspoon’s post so check out his first look below and stay tuned for more information to surface later this year.
