Saucony Originals Launches Its Most Sustainable Sneakers Yet

After marking 40 years of its famed Jazz 81 silhouette earlier this year, Saucony Originals now launches its most sustainable sneaker yet in the Jazz Court RFG, crafted out of only natural and renewable materials, and 0% plastic. The Jazz Court RFG — which arrives in either green or black, and an already-released “Natural” colorway — is made from cotton, jute, wool, rubber, wood, gardenia and beet, and is dyed using gallnut or mulberry leaf to naturally create a dark grey or green variant.Sat atop a classic-looking gum sole with the brand’s epochal logo on the side of the upper, each sneaker is designed to leave a lighter footprint, with the brand adapting each step of its shoemaking process to reduce both energy and chemical waste, resulting in a release that’s a lesson in how less can be more. The green colorway of the Jazz Court RFG are available to buy now from the Saucony webstore retailing from $130 USD, with the black iteration set to follow in the coming days.In other sneaker news, you’ll never run (out of beer) with the Deschutes Brewery x Brooks “Run Hoppy” collection.Click here to view full gallery at HYPEBEAST
