Edison Chen and his team over at CLOT have a penchant for celebrating their culture through footwear collaborations with Nike and Jordan Brand. The Hong Kong-based label’s archive with the latter bears striking takes of models such as the Air Jordan 13 Low, Air Jordan 14, Air Jordan 35 and the Air Jordan 1 Mid, and now the two parties have reconnected to concoct an Air Jordan 5 Low “Jade” team-up. The project is designed to commemorate the heritage and values of jade as well as the perseverance found in its craftsmanship.“It’s heritage and tradition infused with greatness, a truly shining example of the essence of a CLOT x Jordan Brand collab,” says CLOT Founder and Creative Director, Edison Chen. Canvas uppers are mostly treated with black, allowing all of its additional accessories to overtly stand out. The lateral heels are fashioned with MJ’s uniform number 23 in Chinese characters and jade bead rings show face in sets of two and three along the lace stays.Looking to pick up a pair?
