After delivering an outdoor-focused collection with ENGINEERED GARMENTS, Palace has now come together with New Balance for their first team-up. Coming in two colorways, the uniquely British streetwear imprint has put together a boisterous color palette inspired by the ’90s. The takes explore a mix of bright “Lapis Blue,” “Neutral Gargoyle,” “Pansy Violet,” and “Deep Shaded Spruce” tones.The Palace x New Balance 580 features uppers that mix hairy suede overlays with mesh underlays and TPU elements, accented by dashed laces and rollbar midsoles. The lifestyle silhouette has also been upgraded with unique detailing like bespoke stash pocket tongues and Palace debossed foxing. Aside from the usual “N” motifs at the midfoot, additional branding includes co-branded tongue tags, “PALACE” lace dubraes, and printed insoles.Set to accompany Palace’s Fall 2022 Week 8 Drop, the Palace x New Balance 580 collaboration is set for both in-store and online releases starting September 23, 11 a.m. EDT on the brand’s official webstore, and in Japan on September 24, 11 a.m. JST on the Palace Japan webstore, and on the official “Palace_Skateboards” WeChat store September 24, 11 a.m. CST.
