adidas Originals has given the Superstar various makeovers in its lifetime, but none (bar the likes of Jeremy Scott) have been as avant-garde as the upcoming collaboration with notitle.ltd.notitle.ltd is a creative house that refuses to be called an “agency,” instead wanting to be better known for thinking of creative and inspiring solutions for brands to make an impact. This ethos lead it to work with Hiroshi Fujiwara‘s THE CONVENI back in September 2020, and now it opens its creativity to an adidas Originals Superstar collaboration.Dubbed the “AEROSTAR,” the collaborative Superstar comes in two iterations: white or black. The classic leather base has been completely covered in a puffy nylon shield, looking like a duvet for your feet. This covering overlays the tongue and lace area, the mid-panels, the tongue, the collar, heel, and elsewhere around the shoe, and goes without heavy use of branding so to allow the redesign to speak for itself. The same goes for the branding, which hits up the padded heel with a reversed adidas Trefoil logo gracing the top, and notitle.ltd’s moniker appearing on the heel piece if lifted up to reveal.notitle.ltd’s adidas Originals Superstar “AEROSTAR” is set to drop at retailers such as Billy’s Tokyo and atmos Tokyo on December 11, costing ¥16,500 JPY (approximately $145 USD).In other news, COMME des GARÇONS PLAY’s Converse collaborations have restocked.Click here to view full gallery at HYPEBEAST
