While the Air Max 95 is no stranger to the “Safari” treatment, this year Nike has opted to blend the theme with various “Viotech” shades of purple.Originally introduced on Tinker Hatfield’s Nike Air Safari in 1987, the now-iconic safari pattern has been featured countless times since, including on the greatly sought-after atmos x Nike Air Max 1 “Safari”. The pattern now arrives on the lateral side of this Air Max 95, blending in with a gradient of layered earth tones. The upper is composed of suede, mesh, and hints of corduroy and showcases strong shades of purple on the medial side and heel of the shoe.
