Nike ACG has a storied history as part of Nike’s offerings. Upon introduction, the “All Conditions Gear” line had somewhat of a cult following in the 80’s, though it was discontinued in the mid 90’s. Relaunched with help from techwear legend Errolson Hugh in 2014, the line favored futuristic, city-ready looks. While Hugh remains an ongoing Nike partner with recent releases such as the ACRONYM x Nike Blazer Low, his participation in designing the ACG line ended in 2018. Since then, Nike ACG quickly pivoted back to its trail running roots.Following Nike ACG’s Summer 2022 launch, it now introduces the Nike ACG Lowcate. Put to the test in the mountainous Pacific Northwest, the ACG Lowcate is sure to be a durable option for outdoor wear. Utilizing design elements such as its lug patterned rubber outsole, the sneaker is all-terrain ready. This “Wolf Grey” offering favors grey suede and blue mesh alongside “Bright Crimson” Swooshes and ACG branding to compose the upper.
