New Balance is continuing to push fresh iterations of its 1906R silhouette and the sleek design is soon to be available in a stealthy “Metallic Black” colorway.Recently, New Balance has been experimenting with its 1906R like never before. Having just teased another collaboration with Teddy Santis’ Aimé Leon Dore, the sneaker has also been adapted with new stow patches and even added to the Protection Pack umbrella with new-and-improved durable details.Now the sneaker is making itself available for everyday wear with a new and versatile color scheme. Featuring a black mesh upper with leather overlays, speckles of “Metallic Silver” are applied to the branded areas on the lateral walls, tongue, and underfoot. Meanwhile, its classic N-Lock system is used to stabilize the lateral sides while a TPU heel counter supplies additional support.
