2021 was a major year for Kanye West and his YEEZY footwear empire as he managed to continue dropping an insane amount of colorways for his existing models while at the same time sprinkling in releases for new ones. One of the styles that make its introduction to the market this year was the adidas YZY KNIT RNR, and after showing out in a “Sulphur” colorway, the sock-like silhouette has now surfaced in a muted “Stone Carbon” palette.The first images of the kicks — which were revealed by YEEZY MAFIA — show off all of the shoe’s two-toned details. Around the ankles of this chunky offering, comes a small knitted area that is filled in with a light brown, while a majority of the base layer’s real estate is doused in a “Stone Carbon” hue. Like many of Ye’s adidas YEEZY models, branding is very minimal and can only be seen in tonal fashion across the chevron-patterned outsoles and the co-branded insoles. Moreover, the US size of the shoe comes printed in black font on the collars for added flair.Unlike the “Sulphur” rendition which only dropped in the US, this makeup will be launched on a global scale.
