Converse CONS and Pop Trading Company Reunite for Miffy-Inspired Capsule

Amsterdam-based skate label Pop Trading Company and Converse CONS have reunited this season to celebrate two classics in the latter’s Jack Purcell Pro silhouette and Miffy, the cartoon bunny.Created by Dick Bruna in 1955, Miffy has resonated globally in the decades since her creation, so much so that Pop co-founders Peter Kolks and Ric van Rest decided to meld their work with the cartoon bunny in a capsule first released in 2019.Now this season they return to Miffy, this time to combine her with another classic in Converse’s Jack Purcell Pro. Arriving in two iterations, one provides an embroidered all-over print, while the other presents Miffy holding a balloon screen-printed on the upper. The Jack Purcell Pro maintains the performance benefits of Converse CONS and is designed with skaters in mind, offering ample ankle support, while outsole rubber traction provides both durability and grip. The Pop Trading Company x Converse CONS Jack Purcell Pro capsule is available now from the former’s online webstore. In other news, we sat down with Sean Wotherspoon to discuss whether a sneaker can really be fully sustainable.Click here to view full gallery at HYPEBEAST
