BAIT returns with Reebok and Tezuka Productions’ Astro Boy franchise for another round of Mighty Atom-inspired footwear. This time around, the silhouettes of choice are the Reebok Hurikaze II — a classic basketball shoe made popular by Shawn Kemp — and one of the newer basketball models from Reebok — the Instapump Fury Zone. The Hurikaze II takes Atom’s main colors of green, black and red and places them over a base of cream leather. Red and green are alternated on the right and left side waves, respectively, and are joined with a circuitry pattern. The Instapump Fury Zone takes on more of a technical design as the Reebok Pump technology in red and black hugs the silver uppers. This pair sees also sees circuitry detailing but has been treated to luminescent material to match the glow-in-the-dark outsole, heel, and tongue. Both pairs are available now over at BAIT where the Hurikaze 2 sells for $180 USD and the Instapump Fury Zone for $200 USD.
