AJ6 Low G NRG “Bordeaux” Is Our Drink of Choice

Jordan Brand is increasingly becoming a powerhouse in the golf space, with silhouettes like the AJ1 Low G already well on their way to becoming fairway classics. But now the sub-label is spreading the love to other models too, one of those being the AJ6 Low G. After revealing a retooled variation of the kicks last month with the “Infrared” colorway, the brand has now provided a first look at a clean “Bordeaux” iteration.Referencing one of Michael Jordan’s drinks of choice, the color scheme has graced silhouettes like the AJ1 and AJ12 in the past, and now it’s making its first appearance on the golf course. Apart from the titular hue which splashes the midsole, outsole and tongue, the shoes are primarily arranged in a crispy white leather. Other interesting details to note include the cherry graphic along the lace toggle and faux water droplets at the heel and embroidered wine glasses. Also, as opposed to the Nike Free sole that was used on the AJ6 Low G from 2015, take note of the translucent plastic sole which matches much more closely with the basketball version. Screwed into that sole are seven strategically placed Softspikes to assist with traction in various weather conditions.Keep an eye out for this release which is expected to arrive on April 4, 2023 on nike.com for a retail price of $220 USD.Elsewhere in golf, UK brand MANORS has relaunched and released the Frontier Collection.Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast
