With sustainability in fashion becoming evermore important, adidas has now made another step yet into helping protect the planet. Its latest sneaker, the adidas NMD_S1 has been designed to be remade, while also allowing wearers to find out more about the shoe’s story through an integrated QR code on the sneaker’s tongue. The new policy with the NMD_S1 allows wearers to send the sneaker back to adidas, for it to be repaired, remade and not thrown away. Visually, the shoe comes in a “Core Black/Cloud White” colorway, while it also features a synthetic upper and lining to create a lightweight silhouette that’s designed for functionality. The synthetic outsole also has been made with comfortability in mind: its style of protrusions at the fore-foot and heel make room for the visible traction teeth that appear on the outer edges. Keeping things neat, lace closure has been integrated to keep a no-mess attitude throughout.adidas’ NMD_S1 sneaker can be seen above and is available on its official website now, costing £170 (approx. $210 USD).In other footwear news, Dior’s H-Town sandal has been released for Fall 2022.Click here to view full gallery at HYPEBEAST
