Nike has established a roster of ongoing collaborators that continue to push the world of footwear forward. One such partner that has expanded Nike’s offerings in both sneakers and apparel is Givenchy’s Creative Director, Matthew M Williams. A long time Swoosh associate, Williams most recently introduced a new colorway of the Nike Zoom MMW 4 in quarter four of 2021. Additionally, as founder of 1017 Alyx 9SM, his label’s partnership with Nike has most notably reworked the Air Force 1 with its iconic buckles. Now, Williams taps into the slip-on trend with his latest Nike collaboration. Providing an early look via his Instagram, Williams’ Nike slide takes on a futuristic shape in an all black colorway. With little framework at the heel, it should be a breeze slipping this pair on and off. Common in many slide options these days, the pair opts for a ventilated look with gaps in its upper.Release information remains speculative as Williams mentions his upcoming Alyx SS23 runway show in the caption of this first look. However, it’s possible we see these hit shelves sooner than Spring 2023. Check out additional videos and imagery of this anticipated collaboration below.
